Repair of physiological barriers

Aging is associated with violation of physiological barriers in the skin, lungs, vascular endothelium, kidneys, retina, hematoencephalic and gastrointerstinal barriers. Antigens, toxins, infectious agents and immune cells get across the barriers and cause inflammatory and autoimmune processes, underlying cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases, weakening digestive, excretory and respiratory functions.

We aim to create a platform for potential treatment development to aid in repairing physiological barriers.
