Faya did her Bachelor’s degree at New York University, where she received a double major in Psychology and Computational Neuroscience, as her general interests combine neurodegeneration and a study of neural networks that underlie those processes. Currently, Faya is obtaining her PhD at UCL, UK in Computational Neuroscience, studying neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease and focusing on vision. Her research project aims to detect the presence of grid-like representations as a function of eye movements in visual recognition memory and link them to memory performance. At Longaevus Technologies she works as Laboratory Manager and has practical knowledge of teamwork, teaching and logistics of small to medium companies in biotech and investment areas.
