Rakhan is a cell and molecular biologist. During his graduate school (MD Anderson Cancer Center, USA), he worked closely on the mTOR pathway. As a postdoc, Rakhan continued his studies on the histone variant-associated epigenetic regulation of gene expression at the Gustave Roussy Institute in France. Following his interests in epigenetic and ageing Rakhan also investigated the molecular mechanisms of protein (de)glycation in the Parkinson’s disease context at Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan. Now Rakhan works as an advanced genetic analysts in Longaevus, bringing his undeniable expertise and international experience.
